Bullying Seminar May 5th!

Awareness = Action = Change
Together We Can End Bullying!
We invite all young people (aged 9+) and all of the adults who love, care and nurture them, to attend this important and impactful gathering.

Saturday, May 5, 2012
Program: 10:00 – 12:00
Reception/Networking: 12:00 – 1:00
Federated Church – 1031 Thompson Way, Placerville

Having experienced the suicide of her son as a result of bullying, Lisa Berry believes that bullying is more rampant than anyone knows. She challenges us to toss out our preconceived ideas of what bullying means and take action.

The Center’s Executive Director, Matt Huckabay will follow Lisa’s story with statistics that will give the audience the scope of bullying that exists nationwide, why it is happening, and how far it has encroached into the lives of our children in El Dorado County.

Together, Lisa and Matt will throw out a lifeline of resources and action for our educational communities, faith communities, and our community at large.

Join us at for a post-presentation reception where light refreshments will be served. It’s a great chance to network with your friends and neighbors so you can “Be the change you want to see.”
