Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a playful event that allows men the opportunity to raise awareness about the very serious issues of sexual assault and domestic violence. The goal of the walk is to raise community awareness about the vital role men play in eliminating violence against women.
We hope you’ll grab your heels and join us next year for this fun filled event!
On Saturday, May 13, 2017 The Center will hold the 15th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event on Placerville’s Historic Main Street where men will step into some crazy large women’s high heels and walk a mile to raise awareness about violence against women.
Game on — can you sport a pair of heels for a whole mile? Challenge your friends to get involved by organizing a team and competing to see who can raise the most funds.
NO REGISTRATION NEEDED! Just show up the morning of the walk ready to get a few blisters!
