At The Center, we are encouraged to work with our natural talents, within our strengths.
We have opportunities in the following areas:
COMMUNITY
EDUCATION: High School & Middle School Presentations; Tabling opportunities
COUNSELING: Crisis Line Counseling; 1-on-1 Counseling; Group Facilitation
EVENTS
MANAGEMENT: Working on planning and operations for events throughout the year
LEGAL: Family Law Court and Mediation Accompaniment; Criminal Court Accompaniment
OFFICE: Front Office Reception; Operations; Special projects
POSITIVE
SOLUTIONS: Facilitation for Batterers Intervention programs and Nonviolent Communication Workshops; Program Intakes; Administration
SHELTER: Operations; Second Generation Project (working with children of domestic violence survivors)
VOLUNTEER: Special Volunteer Unit Management; Training;
Volunteers need not be certified through the extensive training to serve at public events, so if you would like to become involved in this way, we can accommodate your desire to volunteer.
