Advocacy
Our advocacy efforts here at The Center are two sided: policy advocacy and client specific advocacy. Advocacy efforts facilitate a survivor’s mobility through institutions such as the court system, social services, and housing access.
We work to develop community leadership and influence public opinion in support of the prevention and elimination of sexual assault and domestic violence by advocating on the local, county, state, and national level.
Our legal advocacy services guide survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence through the existing legal system in order for them to receive justice, protection and their due rights.
