State Coalitions
The Center is a member in the California Coalition against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) and the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV). These collectives help to advocate for the rights of victims of intimate partner violence in the state legislature and state governments.
Recently, The Center sent representatives from our agency to participate in CPEDV’s legislative action day. On this day we spoke to El Dorado County’s representatives, Assemblymen Gaines and Senator Dave Cox, about the recent budget cuts to domestic violence services.
