PEACE IN THE HOME - FOUR WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES

The Center for Violence-Free Relationships is offering a four week Peace in the Home workshop for anyone who wants to improve their relationships and is looking for help with dealing with conflict in the home. The workshop starts November 28, 2011 and will meet on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. at The Center, 344 Placerville Dr, Ste 11, Placerville, CA.

The workshop will support participants in learning how to navigate through conflict and tension in the home and honor and respect all individuals involved. Participants will learn to identify their triggers and how to better respond to them. The main aim of the workshop is to help participants develop the freedom to choose, in every moment, how they want to meet life.

“The stakes are often very high when we are dealing with family and close relationships,” said Eddie Zacapa, Positive Solutions Program Director and workshop presenter. “That is why it is so important to learn how to meet the challenges with empathy, goodwill and authenticity. In this class we want to empower individuals, who may be stuck, to realize their full potential and show up with integrity when tension and conflict arise.”

The workshop will assist participants in learning to ask for all they want and yet remain open to hearing “no.” It will also help individuals find freedom and power in responding empathetically in challenging circumstances, while stepping into radical self-acceptance along the way.

To sign up for a “Peace in the Home” workshop, fees, or for more information contact Eddie Zacapa at 530-626-1450 or 530-295-4210 or EddieZ@thecenternow.org.

Cost: Sliding scale - $60-$140 for the entire workshop or $15-35 per session. Scholarships and assistance is available for those who qualify. No one will be turned away for the inability to pay.
