Are You Man Enough? To walk a mile in HER shoes?
We are calling on local leaders, business owners, community champions, and bold-hearted men to step into red heels, raise support, and show survivors they are not walking alone.
What Is a High-Profile Walker?
Local leaders. Red heels. Big impact.
High-Profile Walkers are men and community leaders who agree to walk in high heels to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault while helping fund survivor services through The Center.

Why It Matters
Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a playful event with a powerful purpose. When men publicly take part, it sends a clear message that ending violence is everyone’s responsibility.
It Starts Conversations
The heels grab attention. The message behind them helps people talk about safety, respect, and support.
It Funds Real Support
Money raised helps support survivor services, prevention education, advocacy, outreach, and crisis support.
Help Us Reach Our $10,000 Goal
High-Profile Walkers help drive donations, visibility, and momentum for the event. Every share, every pledge, and every step helps move the mission forward.
Walk Route Map
The walk will take place along Historic Main Street in Placerville, starting and ending at Town Hall.
