How We Drive Change

The Center aims to create a positive transformation in family dynamics with every member impacted by family violence and abuse. We coordinate a variety of services to meet the needs of each individual.

We begin by conducting assessments to help identify the most pressing issue. Next, we sequence treatment programs to tackle the greatest need first, before moving on to secondary issues.

Throughout the treatment process, our team continues to check in regularly, ensuring continued stability and a healthier home environment.

Once the initial crisis is resolved and most emerging issues are addressed, we begin working to identify the root causes that contributed to the dysfunction.

This usually involves creating awareness of the connection between the negative behavior and its origination in early childhood. Many people who are victims and who harm those they love have experienced or witnessed abusive behavior early in life.

This approach is a marathon, not a sprint. However, the long game usually has positive outcomes for the entire family. Our intent is to provide useful tools and new approaches that create behavioral change and help families stay together.
