Women’s Independence Scholarship Program (WISP)
This program helps female survivors of intimate partner abuse pursue education by covering tuition and related expenses.
Eligibility includes:
- Separated from abuser for at least one year (but no more than ten)
- Received services from a nonprofit domestic violence agency for at least six consecutive months
- Accepted or enrolled in an accredited educational or training program
Liz Scholarship (Liz Claiborne Foundation Program)

Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund
This fund assists low-income women, including survivors of domestic abuse, in pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree at accredited institutions.
Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Support Awards
Provides grants to low-income women, particularly mothers and survivors, to help with tuition, childcare, and living expenses while attending postsecondary education.
Doves Hope Domestic Violence Scholarship
The Doves Hope program awards up to $2,500 to survivors of domestic violence to support tuition and related educational expenses.
John T. Fields & Associates – Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship
This $2,000 scholarship is offered each semester to students impacted by domestic violence or passionate about advocacy and prevention.
